Kiera was only eight when she was diagnosed with brain cancer. With a single phone call from her paediatrician, Kiera’s life changed forever.
She had emergency brain surgery and a procedure on her windpipe. Although it saved her life, she still lives with the effects of her treatment today.
Kiera is incredibly resilient and through ongoing support from Canteen, Kiera is determine to fulfil her dreams. Today, Kiera is a Canteen youth ambassador where she shares her story to inspire and support other young people dealing with cancer.
