Sensing our grief

Rich Text 1

We know that young people who face the death of a loved one from cancer often report high levels of distress and a need for understanding among others who have gone through the same thing.

Sensing Our Grief brings together young people aged 12-25 who have experienced the death of a parent, carer or sibling from cancer. Over six weeks, young people explore and express their grief, share experiences and learn from others who’ve faced loss too.

*Sensing Our Grief will probably not be run during 2022 due to the ongoing impacts of COVID-19. You can still connect with young people who get what dealing with cancer is like at some of our other events and programs as well as online through Canteen Connect.
