Exploring what it means to have youth leadership at Canteen

Youth leaders have always been at the centre of Canteen. Canteen offers young people a range of opportunities to participate in youth leadership – from local leadership to Board Director – supported by specialist training programs, groups, and activities. 

Canteen is asking people to speak up on leadership and tell us what it means for young people to have the opportunity to be a leader. This study aims to investigate the impact of youth leadership on individuals and the organisation, including impacts on well-being, empowerment, and consumer advocacy. Findings from this study will help to inform how youth leadership is offered within and beyond Canteen.
