Brent Cubis - CA, BComm (UNSW), GAICD
Brent was appointed as a Director of Canteen in May 2022 and Chair of the Finance & Risk Committee. He is a Chartered Accountant and company director/ advisor with over 30 years’ experience working in senior finance roles across a broad range of global companies and industries. His previous executive roles have included CFO of Cochlear Ltd and CFO for Nine Network Australia.
He is currently a Non-executive Director and Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee for ARN Media (ASX:A1N), AI Media (ASX:AIM) Silverchain Group and was previously a Director for A2B (delisted April 2024); Prime Media (delisted March 2022) and EML Payments (ASX: EML).
Brent believes strongly in the purpose of Canteen, having been directly involved in cancer supporting charities for over a decade as a Director/major fundraiser for Can Too Foundation and also as CFO for Chris O’Brien Lifehouse, Sydney’s dedicated hospital caring for cancer patients which opened in 2013.
