Our Community Education program has a series of on-demand webinars which are aimed to provide cancer support for families, and their surrounding networks of family, friends and schools. These webinars provide practical tools, strategies and resources, and are aimed at education professionals, students, health professionals and parents. They cover a range of topics, from dealing with parenting while managing illness to more bespoke training to professionals, and support for school aged friends.

Training Courses for Professionals
Canteen run courses which are aimed at professionals working in the education and healthcare space. These training programs are created to help people to understand the impact of cancer on young people, how professionals can help, and how Canteen can support young people and families.
Parenting Through Illness - Communication
In this webinar learn about how to communicate effectively with your children about you or your partner's diagnosis, how to prepare for difficult conversations and tips on how to offer and access support.
Parenting Through Illness - Bereaved Parents
In this webinar gain insights into grief, supporting your children through their grief, navigating and embracing changes in relationships, creating continuing bonds, and accessing support while parenting after experiencing loss.
Parenting Through Illness - Support from Others, Values & Self-Care
Learn how to maintain values, routines and boundaries while parenting; learn about how to access support options from family, friends, schools and health professionals, and understand how to take care of your mind and body while parenting through illness.
Student Education Program
This training webinar is intended for educators and school professionals to access to share with their high school aged students, to help them understand the impact of cancer on young people, how they can be a supportive friend, whilst looking after themselves, and how Canteen can provide assistance to young people dealing with cancer
