Canteen empowers young people to lead within and beyond Canteen to shape the organisation they need and the world they want to live in. Canteen was set up by a group of young cancer patients in 1985 and young people are still actively contributing to the organisation at every level. Our new youth leadership video captures the richness and diversity of what Youth Leadership can offer at Canteen through the lens of our inspiring leaders.
Youth leadership at Canteen empowers young people to take charge, making a profound difference in their lives and our organisation. By engaging in leadership, young people develop essential skills, forge lasting connections, and gain the confidence to pursue their dreams. This involvement not only helps Canteen stay relevant but also ensures our services meet the unique needs of young people impacted by cancer.
