Canteen's Annual Report 2024 captures an extraordinary year of growth, innovation, and unwavering support for young people impacted by cancer. We invite you to join us as we reflect on the year’s milestones, including providing more than 25,000 vital cancer support services to around 5,000 young people and parents. This year, we invested in life-saving access to clinical trials and facilitated in-hospital support through our Youth Cancer Services. Our Annual Report 2024 highlights many successes, including our resources and community education programs, which reached 75,000 people.

Key moments this year include the launch of the AYA Vision 2033 at the National Youth Cancer Consumer Forum, a cancer plan for Australian adolescents and young adults, and the introduction of our Culturally Responsive Framework, designed to better support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people, their kin and communities.

The report showcases our world-class impact research, which continues to transform the lives of young people and their families. Through this valuable work, we know that 83% of young people feel better and cope better through the challenges of cancer with Canteen’s support.

None of this work would be possible without the generous support of our community. With nearly 80% of our revenue sourced from donations, these contributions have been crucial.

Join us in reflecting on a year of remarkable achievements and discover how your support has made a profound difference in the lives of young people facing cancer.
